Drop by our Common Room anytime between 6:00pm and 7:00pm, Wednesday-Saturday to “Chat With An Expert” (held for Lodge guests April through October). Learn about the hikes, scenic drives, fishing, horseback riding, Anasazi museum, special events, and other activities in the Boulder area.

One of the best ways to experience the wonders of Southern Utah is through a guided excursion. Boulder Mountain Lodge offers access to guide services created to educate visitors about the science, history, and natural wonders that surround Boulder, Utah. We offer more than just a taste of Boulder’s unique flavor, with many different adventures, ranging from fishing trips to horseback riding and hikes.

Experience the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument or Boulder Mountain at your desired pace. Hikes range from leisurely, educational half-day walks or fishing trips, to full-day hikes that include slickrock scrambles and canyon exploration. And for the truly adventurous, we can help arrange for overnight backpacking trips that will immerse visitors in the spectacular canyons around Boulder, Utah.

We connect our guests to guides who are local professionals with a passion for the land. Many outings will include information about the fragile environment, how it was formed and how it must be preserved.
